If you'd like more information about becoming qualified to lead outdoor and adventure activities, please visit the Outdoor Education Service website for details.
All schools must have a designated Educational Visits Coordinator (EVC), who has taken part in the national EVC training course.
If you've already received EVC training with a recognised provider outside of North Yorkshire County Council, e.g. whilst working for another Local Authority, please email Dave Barham for advice.
To book a place on one of the EVC courses listed below, please contact the Continuing Professional Development section in County Hall or visit the Learning Net website at www.n-yorks.net quoting the course code. These courses are very popular and usually over-subscribed, so book early to secure your place.
