Monitoring School Visits

The LEA is required to monitor arrangements and procedures for school visits and activities. It is also required to attend a proportion of your visits for monitoring purposes. Each school is required to monitor a proportion of their own visits. The LEA has developed two frameworks which can guide you in either of these important exercises and provide a record of your findings.

The EVM1 form provides you with a framework to audit your arrangements and procedures at school, for the organisation and management of educational viist & activities.

The EVM2 form is a framework to help you organise your monitoring of school visits whilst they are happening. You may also wish to apply OfSTED criteria toward any teaching that is taking place.
